Farmer Training Center

The center offers various trainings on organic agriculture techniques, social accountability monitoring (SAM & PETS), entrepreneurship, research, and environmental conservation. The 12-acre farm located at Tuangoma, a few kilometers from the Indian Ocean, is an attractive area where you can learn and experience other tourism attractions.

Our farm offers diverse exhibits, featuring organic vegetable, cereal, and fruit plots, rainfed farming methods, techniques for soil and water conservation, aquaculture, and more. Furthermore, visitors can indulge in our delicious organic food, a standout reason to enroll in one of our courses.

The short-term training programs are designed specifically for farmers, professionals, NGOs, CBOs, and internationals. Also, we invite tourists and researchers who are visiting Tanzania to learn and experience attractiveness along the beaches of the Indian Ocean, and we assist them in visiting our project areas in Kilwa, Bagamoyo, and Arusha, where there are cultural and tourism extractions.

The income generated from trainings is used for: 25% for maintaining the farm, 25% for staff wages, and the other 50% for training smallholder farmers (SHF).
